What is cool?
Cool is something that is almost undefinable yet you know it when you see it. It’s timeless and stylish. It has attitude, has no respect for authority and cares not for the status quo.
Not everybody understands it, and not everybody has it. It’s exclusive and desirable.
It’s knowing who you are, what you like and what you want to say regardless of the consequences.
When working on a creative project ask yourself: “Is this cool? Has it got style? Is it different? Will everybody understand it? Do I really care if anyone understands it or not?”
Stand out from the crowd by having the confidence to follow your own instincts rather than following mainstream trends. Remember, cover bands don’t change the world.
