A new video app has been released called Vine and if you’ve got more than a passing interest in Twitter than you should have already heard about it.
What’s great about Vine is that it lets you create small video montages with sounds that loop. It’s essentially a high quality GIF with sound. How many times have you wished they existed?
Vine has done something very clever though which is helping it get noticed. The threshold (or barrier to entry) to be part of the network is very small.
It has done this by ensuring that it allows you to use your Twitter account to sign up and that Vine’s little videos play within the Twitter app.
It won’t surprise you to hear that this almost-perfect launch has happened because Vine is a Twitter project. It’s easy to see that they haven’t had the same problems that other developers would have had in this spot.
If you are looking for Vine videos on Facebook then you won’t be surprised to learn that they are not being shared currently as Twitter and Facebook aren’t getting on for some reason.
In Summary: Creating an app that allows people to populate their details quickly is going to be adopted faster and therefore shared faster (GROWTH!)
